Privacy & Cookies
How this website uses your information.
This page explains what personal information The Cotswold Inn website collects, why it is collected, and what happens to it after you send a booking request or artist enquiry.
What we collect
If you use the booking form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, requested booking date, party size, and any extra notes you include.
If you use the artist enquiry form, we may collect your act or band name, contact name, email address, phone number, genre, links, short bio, availability, and any extra notes you add about your setup or enquiry.
Why we collect it
We collect this information so The Cotswold Inn can read your enquiry, reply to you, and handle booking requests or artist enquiries in a practical way.
We do not currently use these forms for advertising, profiling, or analytics tracking.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored on the website server in the site database so the enquiry can be reviewed and followed up. If email notifications are enabled later, the submission details may also be sent through the configured email provider and mailbox. At the moment, form notifications are not being emailed out automatically because SMTP is not yet enabled.
Who it is shared with
Your information is intended for Cotswold Inn staff and the website operator who helps keep the site running. It is not sold on. It would only be shared outside that if required by law or if needed to protect the business or someone’s safety.
How long it is kept
Booking requests and artist enquiries are kept only as long as they are reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, follow up if necessary, and keep normal business records. Older entries should then be reviewed and deleted periodically.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for incorrect information to be corrected, or ask for your enquiry details to be deleted where appropriate.
Cookies, storage, and tracking
This site does not currently use non-essential cookies, analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or browser storage such as localStorage or sessionStorage for tracking visitors.
If that changes later, this notice should be updated and consent should be requested where the law requires it.
Third-party services
The site currently loads Google Fonts, so your browser may contact Google when the page loads. The site also includes normal outbound links to services such as Google Maps and Instagram. Once you click those links, those services are controlled by their own providers.
